Connect your first channel
Channels are how customer messages reach Wismify. You can connect as many as you like — every message lands in the same shared inbox, tagged by source. Most teams start with their support email.
Choose a channel
- Email — connect Gmail or Microsoft 365. Existing emails become tickets automatically.
- Live chat — add a chat widget to your website. See Add live chat to your website.
- WhatsApp — connect a WhatsApp Business number. See Connect WhatsApp.
- Shopify — link your store so the AI can read order status. See Connect your Shopify store.
How to add a channel
- Open Settings → Channels in your dashboard.
- Click Add channel and pick the type.
- Follow the secure authorization flow (you may be redirected to Google, Microsoft or Meta to grant access).
- Once connected, new messages start flowing into your inbox within a minute.
Good to know: Wismify never stores your mailbox password. Email is connected through the provider’s official OAuth so you can revoke access at any time.
